Notes

  • Fødevarestyrelsen urges travellers to think twice before bringing pork and wild boar products from local producers in areas with African swine fever, and warns about outbreaks of animal diseases in EU countries.
  • Other animal-origin products (for example honey, eggs, and long-life composite products without meat) are limited to 2 kg per person in total; products without animal content are generally unrestricted.
  • The Fødevarestyrelsen page does not name Great Britain separately; it falls under "countries outside the EU", but the page does not say so for Great Britain, so no separate value is shown.
  • Applies to powdered infant milk, baby food and medically required special foods in factory-packed, branded, unopened and shelf-stable packaging.
  • Per person, 20 kg of fish and fish products, or one whole fish even if it weighs more.
  • Fødevarestyrelsen treats these six countries together with EU countries. Faroe Islands and Greenland have their own allowances (10 kg for meat and dairy).
