About
Last reviewed: October 8, 2026
Rules by Country puts the rules for everyday devices side by side, country by country. We started with drones and e-scooters, because the rules differ a lot between countries and change often. More topics will follow.
Who it is for
The site is written for private individuals: residents who want to know what applies at home, and travelers who take a drone or an e-scooter abroad. It does not cover commercial or professional use.
How we check the rules
- We use only official sources: laws, ministries, regulators, aviation and road authorities, and government websites. We do not rely on news sites, shops or blogs.
- Every rule links to the source that supports it, with the date we checked it. You find all sources on the Sources page.
- If we could not confirm a rule in an official source, the table says “Not yet verified”. We never guess.
- Each page shows when it was last reviewed. A country page takes its date from the oldest rule on it.
What we do not do
There are no ads, no affiliate links and no sponsored content on this site. We do not sell drones, e-scooters or insurance.
Corrections
Did a rule change, or did we get something wrong? Please tell us through the contact page, ideally with a link to the official source.
