Notas
- Article 76 states the minimum in working days (días laborables), not in weeks. The weekly equivalent depends on the working pattern and is not stated in the law.
- Article 78 requires at least 12 continuous days of the period to be taken together, and article 80 sets a vacation premium of at least 25% of the wages for the vacation period. Vacation may not be replaced by payment (article 79).
- Article 74 lists seven fixed days: 1 January, the first Monday of February, the third Monday of March, 1 May, 16 September, the third Monday of November and 25 December. It adds 1 October every six years on the transfer of federal executive power, and election day for ordinary elections.
- Article 76 counts vacation in working days, but the law does not say expressly how a compulsory day of rest within the vacation is treated.
