State pension age in Czechia (2026)
Last reviewed: 30 October 2026
In short: The Czech statutory pension age depends on year of birth: it reaches 65 years 8 months for people born in 1973, then rises by one month per birth year to 67 for those born after 1988. Women's ages for earlier cohorts also depend on the number of children. An early pension is possible up to 3 years before the pension age with 40 years of insurance.

| Statutory pension age in 2026Statutory old-age pension | Set by year of birth in § 32 of Act 155/1995 (pension insurance act). Men born in 1965 retire at 65 years; men and women born in 1973 at 65 years 8 months. For women born before 1973 the age also depends on the number of children raised (for example, born 1965: 65 years with 0 or 1 child, 64 years 8 months with 2, 63 years 2 months with 3 or 4, 61 years 8 months with 5 or more). Notes
- The 2026 pension age therefore depends on the cohort reaching it: it is not a single figure. The page says the age was newly set from 1 January 2025; no other pending change was read.
