Notes

  • Swedish Civil Defence Agency (MCF) refers to 'utomhusfyrverkerier' (outdoor fireworks) and does not map the rule to category F2 by name. It is also illegal to give outdoor fireworks to anyone under 18.
  • Applies to use of indoor fireworks (category F1). The age for buying F1 was not stated on the page.
  • The agency page states no national sales season, use season or fixed ban areas, and does not name category F2. Absence of a rule on the page is not treated as proof of none, so this stays unverified.
  • Crackers have required a permit since 2002 and training since 2015; stick rockets since 2019. Crackers bought abroad may not be used without a permit.
  • A police permit under the Public Order Act (ordningslagen) is judged case by case.
