Notes
- Article 7 sets the minimum age of consumers to whom fireworks may be made available on the market (sold or supplied): 14 for category F1, 16 for F2 and 18 for F3. The text read is the original 2015 publication of the decree-law; a later amendment (DL 9/2021) changes articles 35, 36 and 38, not article 7, according to the consolidated record, which was not opened.
- The decree-law sets minimum ages for making fireworks available to consumers. Its preamble says the limits cover purchase and use, but the articles read set no separate age for use.
- No national period or hours of use were found in the texts read. Municipal rules were not checked.
- This is the rural fire rule for mainland Portugal (the decree-law covers the "território continental"). The danger level is set under article 43 of the same decree-law and changes with the weather; it was not checked here. The rule on the autonomous regions of the Azores and Madeira was not read.
