Remarques
- No UK provision requiring a sign on foreign-registered cars visiting the UK was found on an official source.
- The UK version of Article 3 says the United Kingdom shall recognise the sign of the Member State of registration shown on the left of the plate.
- GOV.UK says a UK sticker is still needed if the plate shows a GB identifier with the Union flag, a Euro symbol, a national flag of England, Scotland or Wales, or no flag or identifier. A sticker is required in Spain, Cyprus and Malta whatever the plate shows. None is needed in Ireland.
