Notes

  • The state statute on the sale age could not be read, so this is the federal retail rule, which applies in every state. The state law may set the same or a higher age.
  • Federal rule for covered tobacco products, which include e-cigarettes. The state statute could not be read.
  • The state smoke-free statutes could not be read. The Nevada Legislature's site (leg.state.nv.us) refused access (HTTP 403).
  • Nicotine pouches are not named in the federal text. Under federal law any product containing nicotine from any source is a tobacco product that retailers may not sell to anyone under 21; the state's own statute was not checked for this rule.
  • Smoking is still allowed in casino areas where minors may not loiter, stand-alone bars, taverns and saloons barring under-21s, strip clubs and brothels, retail tobacco stores and private residences. The official site refused automated requests, so the text was read from an Internet Archive snapshot.
