Notes
- The state statute on the sale age could not be read, so this is the federal retail rule, which applies in every state. The state law may set the same or a higher age.
- Federal rule for covered tobacco products, which include e-cigarettes. The state statute could not be read.
- The state smoke-free statutes could not be read. The New Hampshire General Court's site (gencourt.state.nh.us, gc.nh.gov) refused access or did not respond.
- Nicotine pouches are not named in the federal text. Under federal law any product containing nicotine from any source is a tobacco product that retailers may not sell to anyone under 21; the state's own statute was not checked for this rule.
- Public conveyances are air, land and water vehicles of public access with enclosed sections, including planes, trains, buses, boats, vans and taxis, and all state and municipal vehicles; private vehicles used privately are excluded. The official site refused automated requests, so the text was read from Internet Archive snapshots.
