Fireworks in Florida (2026)
Last reviewed: 9 October 2026
In short: Selling or using fireworks is unlawful in Florida except for approved sparklers and listed novelties, which are allowed at all times. The law does not prohibit using other fireworks on 1 January, 4 July and 31 December, but this holiday exception does not override local government rules on use.

Notes
- Section 791.08 says it is not intended to supersede local regulation of use or homeowners' association covenants. The yes or no field for consumer F2 fireworks was left unverified because sale is unlawful (791.02) while use on the three holidays is not prohibited (791.08).
