Notes

  • Edibles and lower-potency hemp edibles are limited to 800 mg of THC. Registered medical patients are exempt from the limits for patient-specific labelled products.
  • Plants must be kept in an enclosed, locked space that is not open to public view, at the primary residence of an individual aged 21 or over.
  • The section prohibits selling without a licence issued under chapter 342; the licence categories and the number of operating stores were not read.
  • Use is also prohibited in a motor vehicle, wherever smoking is prohibited and where smoke would be inhaled by a minor. The statute lists permitted places rather than banning public use outright.
  • The section sets no residency requirement for adult use; the home-grow rule refers to the residence where plants are kept.
